Home Box Office Emmy Award Winning Show “Game of Thrones” has pumped £43,000,000 into the Northern Ireland economy since filming the 1st and 2nd series of the show. This came after an investment of £6,500,000 from Invest NI to help bring the Pilot, Series 1 and Series 2 to Northern Ireland, making the Return On Investment over 6 times the original investment.
Today kicks off the Balmoral Show for 2012 at the King’s Hall in Belfast. The show which will run from 16th – 18th May is the 144th Balmoral Show.
Tiffany Brien from Holywood, County Down was named Miss Northern Ireland 2012 last night at the Ceremony held in the Europa Hotel in Belfast.
