For the first time in 65 Years the Irish Open is coming to Royal Portrush on June 28th. The Event, last held at Royal Portrush in 1947 is set to run from 28th June – 1st July is attracting a crowd from all over the world, including a Hollywood Legend.
This year the Guinness Blues on the Bay Festival returns to Warrentpoint, County Down for the 14th go. The event returns with music workshops, a blues busking competitions, tall ships, over 90 free blues gigs across Warrenpoint and jazz picnic in the park.
It’s an all Ireland Heineken Cup Final as Ulster Rugby Club take on Leinster Rugby Club at Twickenham in Middlesex, London on Saturday 19th May, starting off at 17:00 on Sky Sports 3
Home Box Office Emmy Award Winning Show “Game of Thrones” has pumped £43,000,000 into the Northern Ireland economy since filming the 1st and 2nd series of the show. This came after an investment of £6,500,000 from Invest NI to help bring the Pilot, Series 1 and Series 2 to Northern Ireland, making the Return On Investment over 6 times the original investment.
Today kicks off the Balmoral Show for 2012 at the King’s Hall in Belfast. The show which will run from 16th – 18th May is the 144th Balmoral Show.
Tiffany Brien from Holywood, County Down was named Miss Northern Ireland 2012 last night at the Ceremony held in the Europa Hotel in Belfast. She saw off competition to win her place in the Miss World Competition in China. The Team at Yellowtom Northern Ireland would like to extend our congratulations to her on her success.
